GARDEN CLUB NEWS
It's actually happened ...
A water line has been installed and connected to Dickinson Park!
Sincere thanks to the Essex Foundation under Bruce Glowac for their generous grant and to the First Selectman Norm Needleman and the Town of Essex for the remainder of the necessary funds, and to Ryan Welch, Director of Public Works for overseeing and implementing the work.

MAY MARKET NEWS
Now that May Market is behind us, here is the news that you all want to hear ... Our gross sales were $42,610 and our profits were a whopping $30,209. These profits help fuel our mission to support camperships, scholarships and town beautification projects. We could not have done it without you. We had obstacles to conquer (rain, wind and cold) but our amazing organization rose to meet those challenges.
To see all the pictures of May Market activities including the Day Itself, click here. It was particularly gratifying to see how many of the "really new members" turned out to help - along with everyone else, of course.
Congratulations and thanks to our hardworking May Market Chairs - Nancy Bentivegna, Deb Carreau and Mara Johnson.
