DICKINSON PARK
Fall was the perfect time to make a few additions to Dickinson Park, now possible because we have water and a hose!
Here’s what was planted:
- Two native Oakleaf hydrangeas “Alice”: these will provide some screening on the west side and add Summer blooms and colorful Fall foliage.
- Rhodendron “Landmark”: check out the gorgeous fall foliage of this shrub – almost glows reddish–bronze!
- Limelight hydrangea – perfect to lead your eye down to the far corner of the park, on the Prospect street side.
- Hemlock “Grentsch”: – a really unusual white-tipped dwarf hemlock. The white/silver edging intensifies in the shade. Will be the highlight of the far corner!
