GARDEN CLUB NEWS:
First, the GOOD news: Last weekend's Fall Pop-Up Sale netted just over $1,900. There are a few ghosts left if anyone needs to embellish their Halloween decorations. Contact Mara if you are interested in purchasing some.
And more GOOD news: The Essex Police Union has donated safety equipment to the Essex Garden Club and the Essex Weeders. The cones, sign and luminous jackets will help protect folks when they are working in the various islands around town.
Thanks to Laurel Stewart and Ann Tillman for creating "The Good Witch" scarecrow as the Club's entry in the Town's Scarecrow competition.
Photographs of the sale, the scarecrow and the safety equipment have been uploaded to the Photo Gallery page of the website.
The Fall Clean Up also took place last week and photographs have been uploaded to the CCE page of the website
Active Members: Please look at the Activity Calendar and put Required Activity dates on your personal calendars. We realize that perhaps some activites are too demanding for some Active Members. If this is the case, please let Dagmar know so that we could use your talents elsewhere in the Club - providing Library Flowers or Hospitality several times more than just once, for example. We want the Garden Club to be a welcoming and accessible place for ALL members.
