Volunteer Opportunity:
Garden Club Member Ann Kloter volunteers in the Common Good Garden at Grace Church, Old Saybrook. She reports that the Church has added a separate garden for teaching some Food Pantry clients how to raise vegetables, and they are looking for volunteer mentors. Last year, the main garden grew about 10,000 lbs of vegetables for the Shoreline Soup Kitchen and Pantry. If anyone is interested in lending a hand, please contact Julie Peace for more information.
