Saturday, March 23, 11:00 am:  Essex Go Bragh Parade.  Meet at Town Hall Parking Lot at 11:00 am
All Club members are encouraged to participate and help carry the new May Market Banner in the Parade.


Monday, April 1, 1:00 pm: Business Meeting at Essex Yacht Club (please note new location)

Spotlight on Horticulture at the Business Meeting: Miniature Gardens

The Co-Leads for May Market's "Members' Perky Plants", Kim Stafford and Julie Carroza, will present their plant collection plan and will be ready to supply folks with some special "Perky Plant Potting Kits"

Program at 2:00 pm: "Connecticut Gardens: A Celebration of the State's Public, Historic & Private Gardens" with Caryn B Davis, Caryn B Davis Photography, Author and Photographer

Horticulture Field Trip:
Friday, June 21:  Newport Flower Show
Tickets go on sale on April 5.  $35.00 and must be purchased online. Garden Club members who wish to go should purchase tickets for the morning session.  We will carpool from the Town Hall parking lot. The theme
of the show is "At Home". There will be landscapes and designs, etc.; all geared to the home gardener. There will also be floral exhibits designed for the home.

​At this point the proposed Horticulture Field Trip to the Emily Dickinson House and Garden is on hold.

Remember: Participation in ONE session is a REQUIRED activity for Active Members; participation in TWO sessions is a REQUIREMENT for New Members; and, of course, Sustaining Members are always welcome to participate.

Afternoon Shifts for Divide and Pot: Monday - Friday, April 22 - 26: 12 noon - 2:00 pm

Remember: Participation in ONE plant dig and ONE divide and pot are required activities for both New and Active members. Sustaining members are always welcome.  Members are encouraged to sign up early so that you can schedule your times to work on Digs and and Divide and Pot on the same day - if that's best for you.
