Garden Club News:
Dagmar and her goblins held a VERY SUCCESSFUL Fall Pop-Up Sale in the Town Park on Sunday, October 8,
netting more than $1,200 in sales of dried flower arrangements, halloween decorations, and garlic salt.
On Wednesday, October 11, 20 Garden Club members met for a fabulous workshop on Creative Flower Design with Cathy Ritch, National Garden Club Judge. Many thanks to Sandy French and the Horticulture Committee for arranging this wonderful opportunity for club members to learn from a professional!
Photographs from both these events can be seen on the Photo Gallery page of the website along with pictures of a year's worth of beautiful Flower Arrangements delivered to the Library by Garden Club members during 2022-2023, the Spotlight on Horticulture offerings so far this year, and the Garden Club's entry in the Scarecrow competition made by new members, Laurel Stewart and Ann Tillman. Don't forget to vote!
On a beautiful fall day, 25 Garden Club members gathered to carry out a Fall Clean-Up in the Town Park, Dickinson Park, Foot of Main, and Foot of South Main. Click here to see photographs of that work in progress.
